In twenty years of production, Veronica Riva’s collages appear as a scream against media banality and the conformity of contemporary society. The artist tears pages from everyday magazines and advertisements, transforming them into works that reveal the true essence of communication.

In this journey, there is a playful aspect, almost a mirror game in which the words resonate like echoes, amplified and distorted, and where pure colors pop up like visual confessions.

The playful use of materials and the evocative power of words make it a vibrant manifesto on the role of women and social dynamics, an open challenge to those who dare to look beyond appearances and immerse themselves in a universe where art is both protest, celebration, and fun.

In the relentless flow of time, Veronica Riva’s works take on a dimension in which the material itself transforms: the colors, once intense and vibrant, slowly fade, as if to testify to the transience of the ephemeral, but they remain alive and immortal through photography.

This transition process, which takes them from the realm of material to that of digital art, is not a mere technological passage but a metamorphosis that enriches the meaning of the work while keeping its emotional and symbolic charge intact.
